Halo HD

The Halo HD is the sleekest, slimmest, coolest Halo yet! The self adjusting interior high density foam padding actually conforms to the head shape - you will forget you are wearing it!

Other manufacturers offer similar products at lower prices than ours, but they are also lower quality.  All our Ice Halo Products are tested in one of the top impact testing facilities in the world, using the Hockey Helmet Standard (CSA Z262.1-09 (April 2009) Annex A, Impact Drop Testing). Our products pass the standard requirements for front, side and back impact. When it comes to comparison -  Ice Halo products out rank the lesser valued ones on the market every time! The Halo HD should be hand washed in luke warm water and air dried.

How to wear your Halo HD:
Put your Halo HD on the same way you'd put on a ballcap - start at the back, slide it over your head to the middle of your forehead, make sure the back is covering the widest part of the back of your head and the 'bump' is pointing up, not down! It should be resting just above the tips of your ears, not covering or on your ears, in most cases. If it feels snug when you first put it on or at any point during use - just tug 'gently' at the two points of the Halo HD just above your eye brows, and release again. This will adjust the inner workings to fit you properly once more!

The Halo HD is available in black, red, green, pink, and light grey ActiveCotton in sizes: S, M, L  --  The X-S and X-L sizes are available in only black - colour coming shortly.  (Medium fits 21” to 22.5”) See below for actual sizes for all the Halo HD's!

Sizing Note:

The Halo HD is sized differently from the Ice Halo. Please refer to our sizing chart for your correct size. Be sure to measure your head!

Once you receive your Halo HD: With the 'bump' at the back and pointing up (not down) put it on as you would a ball cap (slide over back of head, then pull onto forehead).  Once on, pull 'gently' foreward on the front half of the Halo HD using two points of contact approximately above each eye, then release and allow it to contract back to size.  This will allow the Halo HD to conform to your exact head size. Make sure the widest part of the Halo HD is covering the widest part of the back of your head.  The Halo HD should be hand washed in luke warm water and air dried.

Sizing Chart:

Medium adjusts to fit most adults.

Using a cloth measuring tape, start at the middle of the forehead just above the eye brows, follow around to just above the tips of the ears, go around the back where it sticks out the most, continue past the other ear just above the tip, until you return to the middle of the forehead.  THIS measurement is the head circumference. Please use the chart below for the correct sizing - bearing in mind there is a 1.5" variance with the internal elastic material. If you are on the boarder of two sizes, always order the larger size.

X-Small fits 18 up to 19.5 inches (46 to 49.5 cm)

Small fits 19.5 up to 21 inches (49.5 to 53.5 cm)

Medium fits 21.5 up to 23 inches (53.5 to 58.5 cm)

Large fits 23 up to 24.5 inches (58.5 to 62 cm)

X-Large fits 24.5 up to 26 inches (62 to 66 cm)

Important Note for X-Small:
Size X-Small is for children from toddler up to about age 5 or 6. Please measure before ordering X-Small.
